Moving In Slash Utah Slash School

So after we got back from our honeymoon we moved into the basement apatment in Rexico that we are subleasing from my cousin. We love it! I fianlly hung some painting that I painted for our kitchen. I had a lot of fun painting over my old artwork and exploring new color schemes and themes.
This weekend we wnet down to utah to celebrate my sister Sharsti's birthday! She just turned 22, and of course I made her a birthday crown to wear so that she would feel specail on her specail day!

The next day Marcus and I went to my nephew Ike's soccer game, where his dad is the coach. He did awesome! Ike came up with the team name "The Kaysville Krushers".

School started yesterday and since I am an Art ed. Major I had to gather all my supplies and have them ready to go. I love my major but it gets so very costly.

September 11
I love going to a school that is so patriotic. I thought it was so breath taking to walk through the over 200 American Flags that BYU Idaho put up in the courtyard.

The Intro

Marcus and I are currently students at BYU Idaho. This is where the two of us met.

It all started a year ago to the this month, I had just moved into a house across campus and started atending a new ward there. On the first Sunday of the 2011 Fall semester I was sitting in Sacrament meeting and saw a very tall dark and handsome guy who was sitting on the stand about to give a talk. I did not see him again and until FHE groups where made and come to find out his aprtment was put into my group. He asked me out on our first FHE, and I asked him if he wanted to go for a run at the gym with me. I told him we would only run 3 miles and he asted like it was no big deal. Come to find out later he had never run 3 miles in his life! So I thought that was really sweet that he ran (and kept up) with me anyways. We went on a couple more dates after that but only stayed friends until the end of fall semester when we started talking everyday. He asked to take me on a New Years date, which I thought was a really nice gesture since he was in North Carolina and had to get an earlier flight just to do so. That was about the time we started officially dating. We dated for Winter semester and got to know each other a little better. It was not until April Fool's day that he got down on one knee on the top of Bountiful, overlooking the temple that he asked me to marry him. It was one of the happiest days of my life, and his too. We were engaged up at school for spring semester and were making aragenments and plans to have our weddingin the Seattle Temple where my Grandpa could seal us. We were also making honey moon arrangements for the outerbanks in NC, about 8 hours from where he grew up in Lenior, NC. We had a bast at our wedding in Seattle, where my parents and my sisters went overboard with getting the yard ready for my reception and cooking for the guests aswell. My sister in law Jessica made super cute headbands for all of my 12 flower girls. My family did so much in preparation since my older brother Jordan was getting married the week before me as well. Double weddings! It was a blast my brothers flew up from texas with their families and my sister from Utah, even my grandparents from Marshalltown Iowa made the journey. Not to mention all of Marcus's family that came from across the country (NC) and Portland, OR to support us as well. Ever since that day Marcus and I have been so blessed to have the family and friends that we do. After our Wedding in Seattle we headed to NC coast to spend a week at a beach house. It was awesome. Loved every single minute of it. Except for when The GodFather part II came on TV... that was the worste. Anyways after our honwy moon we drove back inland to Lenior and got ready for our reception at the Broyhil House, which was a mansion that had a georgous yard that thanks to Libby ( Marcus's mom) we got to have our reception in NC at. It was beautiful. I had never been to the East coast before and I was in love. I know many of you know about my patch work cowgirl boots, and between the food, the accents, and the weather, I was in Heaven. The South is where it's at. After our time spent there we found ourselves in an awesoem basement apt, that we are subleasing from my cousins in Rexburg Idaho. Marcus is doing his intership right now and working, and I am going to school full time. I am a Senior this year and couldn't be more excited. I am in school to be an Art teacher, and Marcus is in Business Finance and is a second semester Junior. We feel so blessed and are so happy to be together and to be at BYUI.
